Written today The work week ended like a breeze. Each day had an itinerary as preparation for the Christmas - shopping, attending evening mass, more baking and so on... Glad to have permission for a half work last Thursday. I called my mom before the network gets terribly busy, i baked chechoslovakian cookies with the right ingredient - margarine and prepared myself for the party. It was a rainy Christmas eve. Just the right decision to host the party at the clubhouse - ample space and no need to deal the messy place the next day. Most of my friends came but the number of guests were a few compared last year since they were on holidays. No band either. Instead we had videoke, unfortunately songs were not updated but just good enough to put singers on a hype. The dancing was really great, played the songs from my ipod and backed up with strobe lights. I got a bit tipsy with red wine and vodka. Too bad somebody hid my tequila and i already got a shot with vodka when i found it.... (more)

Sometimes, I can't help but think about the tragedy of being torn apart from someone you love. Whether these ponderings are onsetted by movies or the wonderings of my mind, they always have a way of leading back to you. Think about all the couples out there that have been torn apart from something out of their control, a prime example being the protagonists in Titanic. Now think about the contrasting fact of how we simply do have a chance to be together and that there is no greater force pulling us apart. It's simply just me & you that control the fate of this relationship. I thought maybe just the chance of being able to be together would be enough for you to try harder to make us work but I guess I am wrong. Then again, to you I am always wrong. Believe me when I say, I don't plan to make the mistake of calling you again. Those 5 minutes ruined a whole day of holding myself together and only left me worse off.
